LH upgrades premium experience

Lufthansa has introduced a new premium onboard experience across all classes on its long-haul flights.

The service was introduced in first class at the end of March, followed by business, premium economy, and economy classes on May 6.

Business-class highlights

The new breakfast menu allows guests to choose their meal for the following morning in advance, ranging from smoothies to French toast and omelettes. Sky Selection allows guests to order their second meal whenever they like, choosing from tapas bowls, currywurst and macarons. There will also be a cake service in the future.

Premium-economy highlights

The service offers a business-class-level appetiser, a choice of three main courses and a selection of pastries or cake. The beverage selection has been expanded, with a more frequent drink service, greater variety, and a new digestif service. Passengers will now receive slippers.

Economy-class highlights

Passengers will receive an amenity kit featuring a sleep mask and earplugs. On flights longer than 10 hours, there are now three main courses to choose from instead of two, along with an expanded beverage selection.
