Local is ‘lekker’ with MSC

MSC Cruises South Africa is offering the travel trade 7% commission on local transfers, hotels and trips to uShaka when booked in conjunction with a cruise. Agents will also earn 5% commission for on-board services for both local and international cruises.

For local cruises – pre- and post-services are paid at 7% commission and include:

• Shuttle service from airport to port/port to airport
• Private transfers airport to hotel/ hotel to port (agent must provide clients flight details)
• Hotel stays
• uShaka tickets (only available for clients with a hotel stay)

For local and international cruises – on-board services are paid at 5% commission and include:

• Drinks packages
• Spa packages
• Pre-paid on board packages

MSC Cruises SA has partnered with Garden Court South Beach and Southern Sun Elangeni in Durban and the Southern Sun Waterfront Cape Town for pre- or post-cruise accommodation. All hotels are ideally located for the port and are close to vibrant nightlife. For families, MSC Cruises has ensured that kids not only cruise free but also stay free in a family room sharing with their parents.

The above-mentioned services will be commissionable from June 3 on all new cruise bookings. MSC Cruises will not back date any commissions for these services.
