Lufthansa has revealed its new concept business class, which will be available on the Boeing 777-9 from 2020.
The seats will convert to beds up to 220cm long, and passengers will be able to choose from a number of spatial configurations, such as an extended-length bed, or a seat with twice as much desk space.
All seats will have direct access to the aisle and provide more personal space, privacy, storage compartments and flat surfaces.
Passengers will be able to control seat functions and the in-flight entertainment system from their personal devices, which can be charged wirelessly at the seat.
There will be some improvements to the existing business class in 2018, such as new mattresses and blankets, and passengers will be offered sleeping sweaters.
