Melbourne Airport to refurb international terminal

Melbourne Airport’s International Arrivals Hall is set to undergo a major refurbishment in early 2020.

During the work, amenities in the T2/ T3 link will be closed, including the toilets and prayer room. Premium airline lounges will be built, as well as a rooftop piazza.

The travellator connecting the T2 Arrivals Hall to T2 Departures will be closed. To get between the levels, passengers must use the lift or walk outside the Arrivals Hall and enter the terminal building via Terminals 1 or 2.

The refurbished terminal is forecast to be opened in mid-2023.
