After its launch date was pushed back from the tail end of 2019, Minor Hotels’ Avani brand will finally make its Maldives debut with the opening of Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort on April 1.
The 176-room resort will be Minor’s sixth property in the country.
Only 35 minutes from Velana International Airport, the resort has multiple accommodation options.
Answering global demand for competitively priced holidays, the upscale resort will launch with a series of opening offers. There will be Avani Beach Studios from US$650 (R11 800) per night to four-bedroom Beach Pavilions from $2 800 (R50 800) per night.
Upcoming special opening offers include a five-night stay for two in an Avani Sea View Studio from $4 100 (R74 500) and a seven-night escape for a family of four staying in an Avani two-bedroom Beach Studio from $9 500 (R172 500). Opening offers include breakfast, taxes and return seaplane transfers.
