More lounges for BA passengers

British Airways customers will be able to access a number of new partner lounges across European destinations this summer.

The use of third-party-owned partner lounges, exclusively for the airline’s customers travelling in Club Europe and eligible cardholders, is part of British Airways’ multi-million-pound investment, with the aim of offering access to more lounges across the globe.

Eligible customers travelling from Thessaloniki, Paphos, Heraklion, Dalaman, Olbia, Palermo, Rhodes and Split will be invited to use the third-party lounges.

British Airways has recently completed the renovation of its First and Club lounges in New York’s JFK Terminal 7, along with improvements to the customer experience at check-in, which are currently under way. Further investment is planned with new British Airways lounges in San Francisco, Geneva and Johannesburg set to open this year.

The third-party lounge openings come as British Airways is investing £6,5bn (R123bn) in improvements to its customer experience over the next five years, including new aircraft, cabins, catering, lounges, WiFi, and new routes.
