MRU - more tests

Tour operators in Mauritius have informed Travel News that the government has added more testing to the procedures for incoming fully vaccinated tourists.

Visitors must be transferred straight to their hotel. On arrival at the hotel, they are obliged to undergo an antigen test and may not leave the hotel premises until they have received a negative test result. Once they have received a negative result, they are then free to explore the island.

The testing will be repeated on day 5.
