MSC Cruises will bring MSC Armonia to South Africa for the first time during its 2026/27 season, with sailings directly from Durban and Cape Town.
According to MSC, the ship will be the first vessel in its class to visit South Africa and will offer a unique balance of intimacy and exclusivity for both families and couples.
The ship can accommodate 2 658 guests across 976 cabins and offers a range of accommodation options, including interior, ocean-view, balcony cabins and suites.
MSC Armonia features four dining venues, eight bars and lounges, a theatre with two evening performances, a disco, MSC Aurea Spa, a Technogym-powered gym, an ice cream bar, pool bar and vitamin bar and shopping areas.
There are children’s play areas for babies, juniors and teens, including the Doremi spray park.
The itineraries will include sailings to destinations such as Portuguese Island, Pomene, Maputo, Port Louis, La Possession and Walvis Bay. Shore excursions vary at every destination but include snorkelling, water sports, city tours and more.
