Unprecedented call volumes have led MSC Cruises to advise agents to make use of the business-to-business online booking portal on its website as the company experiences a record season.
Already over 115 000 passengers are booked to cruise on MSC Sinfonia and MSC Opera in the current season. MSC Cruises SA recently upgraded its call centre to cope with increased call volumes. “The online booking tool for agents provides a fast, effective and hassle-free solution for cruise bookings,” says Allan Foggitt, MSC Cruises SA director of sales and marketing. “Agents, who feel the call centre is slower in its response time over this period due to high volumes, are urged to use the online system as an alternative.”
