MSC offers ‘gastronomic adventure’

MSC Cruises has announced further details of its new dining experience on board its upcoming flagship, MSC Seashore, set to come into service on July 31. With 18 bars and lounges, including 12 indoor and six outdoor venues, five speciality restaurants and four main dining restaurants, a ‘gastronomic adventure’ with globally inspired menus is on its way.

“The goal of our talented in-house culinary team is to create something for every palate and preference, providing a diverse array of outstanding international culinary experiences. We are sure that the new dining concepts and incredible array of restaurants and bars will make for a truly memorable gastronomic experience for MSC Seashore guests,” said food & beverage VP, Jacques Van Staden.

The ship features four main restaurants, including one dedicated for Aurea guests (Aurea is the most exclusive of MSC’s value-adding packages), serving Mediterranean and international specialities. Menus change every day and the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For more casual dining, the Marketplace Buffet has been redesigned to give the feel of a real marketplace. Its three distinct areas have different designs and ambiences – Il Mercato, La Piazza and La Trattoria. In addition, the buffet now features a new outdoor aft dining area as part of the Sky Bar, to complement its 1 100 seats indoors.

Meanwhile, the MSC Yacht Club restaurant has also been extended, offering private fine-dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an à la carte menu with chef’s specials, changing daily.
