MSC replaces Red Sea itineraries

As a result of political unrest in Egypt, MSC Cruises has cancelled MSC Armonia’s 2013-2014 winter itineraries in the Red Sea.

They will be replaced by two new itineraries departing from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands.

With calls in Funchal (Madeira), Santa Cruz de La Palma, San Sebastian and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, MSC Armonia's first itinerary is an exploration of the region, encompassing great shopping and beach opportunities in tourist towns.

Highlights of the itinerary include visits to the National Park Caldera de Taburiente from La Palma, where travellers can explore one of the biggest craters in the world, and the circular Las Cañadas mountain range in Tenerife.

MSC Armonia's second itinerary will take in Arrecife de Lanzarote and Puerto del Rosario in the Canary Islands as well as two destinations Morocco – Casablanca and Agadir.

The two itineraries can also be easily combined to offer travellers a unique 14-night voyage.
