AviaDev Africa, the platform dedicated to enhancing African connectivity, has announced that the Aviadev Africa 2024 Conference will take place in Windhoek, Namibia, hosted by Namibia Airports Company (NAC) in June next year.

"We are thrilled to host AviaDev Africa in 2024 and welcome industry leaders to experience the wonders of our country for both business and tourism," said Bisey Uirab, CEO of NAC. Namibia's attractions, from the coastal charm of Swakopmund to the ethereal Namib Desert and wildlife encounters in Etosha National Park, offer an unparalleled tourism experience. The event will forge partnerships to boost connectivity and sustainable tourism growth.

Key stakeholders – airlines, airports, tourism boards, government officials, and industry experts – will gather to foster co-operation and create new air routes across Africa, enhancing continental connectivity. AviaDev Africa, known for nurturing aviation networks, aims to highlight Namibia’s rising importance in the aviation industry and commitment to regional connectivity. It provides a platform for aviation professionals and leaders to address industry challenges. The conference features speakers, panels, workshops, and an aviation product and service exhibition.

"AviaDev Africa not only aims to foster aviation growth but also serves as a platform to highlight the immense potential of the host country," said CEO, Jon Howell. He said the event in Windhoek would offer memorable experiences and explore opportunities for continent-wide air connectivity.
