Nat Geo, G Adventures launch family holidays

National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures has been launched as an expanded partnership between the two companies.

The new programme of 12 trips is now on sale globally and features National Geographic-inspired experiences for children and adults, with departures starting in March 2020.

The trips, which are priced from £1 349 (R25 000) per person, visit 12 countries on five continents and range from eight to 13 days, with reduced pricing available for children aged 12 and under. Each tour group will be led by two specially trained Chief Experience Officers.

Destination and activity highlights that families can experience together include wildlife spotting in Alaska’s national parks, pasta making and a gladiator school in Italy, safaris in South Africa, descending inside a lava tunnel in Iceland, sumo wrestling lessons in Japan, acrobatic demonstrations with circus performers in Cambodia, hiking in Morocco and ziplining through the Costa Rican rainforest. Arrival and departure airfare is not included.
