POTENTIAL bidders for the Northern Province's first three - of 53 - provincial nature reserves which have been offered for commercial tourism development have until April 28 to put in their bids.
Letaba Ranch, Manyaleti and Andover Nature Reserves have been put under the spotlight with a number of site inspections and briefing sessions between the Northern Province Government and potential bidders over the last three months.
Northern Province government spokesperson, Fixon Hlungwane, says "preferred bidders" will be announced by mid-June.
"We hope to have concession contracts signed with the successful bidders by the end of August," he says.
