Norwegian Cruise Line has provided a first look at upgrades to its private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay, with a new pool area and facilities now open to guests.
Great Life Lagoon is a pool at the centre of the island’s transformation. The new pool is larger than two Olympic-sized pools (0,6 ha) and features a splash area for children and two swim-up bars for adults. It is surrounded by new private cabanas.
The new adults-only Vibe Shore Club offers private cabanas and a private bar, and is accessible on an all-day pass.
Other upgrades include Splash Harbor, a complimentary children’s splash pad near the new pool area, a new Welcome Center and a tram system.
