SAA chief information officer, Hendus Venter has been appointed as the acting ceo at SAA Technical.
The appointment was effective from Tuesday, November 20. He takes over from Wellington Nyuswa who is still in the employ of the company.
Challenges at SAA Technical have been cited as the cause of a decline in airline on-time performance. SAAT handles maintenance for SAA, Mango and Comair.
