AS Tsogo Sun's R1,4bn casino and leisure complex, Montecasino at Fourways in Gauteng, enters its final stretch for completion in December with more than 80% of its retail space having been pre-leased, two key appointments have been announced.
Gavin Rimmer, previously from The Magic Company, has been appointed general manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort, including the activities of the retailers.
Rob Collins, ex chief executive officer of Ster Kinekor's Primovie Management, has been appointed as ceo of MGM Grand South Africa - Tsogo Sun's global partner.
Collins says one of his greatest challenges will be the market positioning of Montecasino.
