New catamaran for Seychelles DMC

Mason’s Travel in Seychelles will take delivery this month of a new double-level catamaran that will double its passenger-carrying capacity.

The catamaran will accommodate 240 passengers for cocktail style arrangements. Mason’s Travel currently has three catamarans in its fleet.

“This makes for a great option for festive season gatherings and private events. For a while now, Anahita has been our flagship because she takes about 100 passengers and goes out monthly for our sunset cruise, which mainly targets the local crowd,” says the public relations manager at Mason’s Travel, Nicole St Ange. Nicole adds that the company leverages off the Seychelles’ busy cruise sector offering excursions out of Port Victoria.

The new catamaran, Le Cerf, was named after one of the company’s first vessels, which began excursions in 1972 with a reef safari to the Sainte Anne Marine National Park.
