Crystal Cruises is relaunching this year as Crystal, after being bought by Abercrombie & Kent in 2022.
The line has launched a new website and opened bookings in February.
Crystal will cruise to destinations throughout the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada and New England, as well as Alaska, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and even through the Panama Canal.
The previous cruise line, Crystal Cruises, was a well-loved cruise brand, and during its lifespan, became popular in the SA market under its representation in South Africa by Cruises International.
Crystal Cruises’ parent company, Genting Hong Kong, filed a winding up of its assets early in 2022, and the cruise line became part of an insolvency, in which the COVID pandemic had played a large part.
No representation has been appointed for the South African market at this stage.
