Hyatt Hotels has opened the Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa in the southernmost region of Japan.
The hotel is on the private Seragaki Island, linked by a bridge to the main island of Okinawa, and is an hour’s drive from Naha Airport.
Accommodation includes 344 guest rooms, with 320 rooms housed in a seven-floor building on Seragaki Island. These include 71 Regency Club rooms and 16 suites, which come with privileges such as dedicated check-in and check-out, and use of a private lounge. The 180 sqm Seragaki Island suite features a private 156 sqm terrace.
An additional 24 beach house rooms are located in a three-storey building across from the main hotel, and are equipped with full kitchens or pantry-style kitchenettes.
Six dining outlets serve dishes that include Japanese and Italian dishes, as well as an all-day-dining restaurant, a poolside bar and a beach bar.
The property has six banquet venues with ocean views and outdoor terraces that can be configured to range in size from 89-149 sqm to host business retreats and social gatherings. Featuring a glass rooftop and a 9m aisle leading toward the ocean, the Seragaki Island Chapel offers an elegant setting for an intimate beachfront wedding for up to 40 guests.
Facilities include a spa that offers steam saunas, an outdoor pool and seaside lagoon, a wellbeing and recreational programme which includes yoga, as well as a children’s entertainment programme with arts and crafts activities.
