Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is adding the new SS Catherine and an all-inclusive offering as well as refurbishing two of its vessels ahead of the 2014 season.
The River Royale and River Empress will both receive upgrades, including new dining areas and refreshed public areas.
The River Royale be remodelled for the 2014 season and will home port in Bordeaux from where it will service the eight-day Bordeaux, Vineyards & Chateaux itinerary – a new destination for Uniworld. A new dining area will be created on the sundeck, similar to the elegant indoor/outdoor L’Orangerie on the SS Antoinette. The area will be collapsible to fit under bridges.
The River Empress will also undergo refurbishment ahead of her first voyage of the new season in March, 2014. The lobby, lounge, Captain’s lounge, gift shop, coffee station, fitness centre and Internet stations will be completely refurbished. A Sky Lounge will be built with dining facilities. The River Empress accommodates 134 guests in river-view staterooms and suites.
