New SA travel insurance product launches

Zurich Insurance Company South Africa has launched its travel insurance offering.
The product covers eventualities such as emergency medical and related expenses, baggage theft, flight delay and cancellation cover, natural disasters and identity fraud.
The insurance also offers additional benefits such as visa rejection cover, reimbursements for tickets to entertainment or sporting events and more, says head of travel, Anrieth Symon.

As part of the launch, Zurich has entered into a preferred agreement with Pentravel. “We were approached by Zurich and, because we knew the people, we were happy to have a look. What we didn’t expect was to be blown away. We are incredibly impressed with the product, the system, the company values and the brand. Having the right partner is of outmost importance to our business. I believe that by partnering with Zurich we are better and stronger and will be more successful,” says Sean Hough, ceo of Pentravel.
