Nomad Pass blends flexible travel and living

Frontier Airlines and Landing, a short-term apartment rental company in the US, have partnered to combine their membership programmes and pioneer a single subscription-based offering that allows digital nomads to fly an unlimited number of times during a month and stay in a destination of their choosing.

Monthly subscriptions cost US$1 495 (R28 475) per month and entitle holders to the same benefits as Landing’s Standby members and Frontier Airlines’ GoWild! Pass, meaning travellers can jet around the US for less than it would cost to rent an apartment in any major city.

Through the collaboration, members can choose a home in more than 375 of Landing’s Standby cities. Verification takes 48 hours and once members have been through this process, they can confirm their Frontier Airlines flight and pack their bags for their next destination.

“Nomad Pass combines two innovative product offerings across living and travel, and they couldn’t be more complementary,” Russ Brodmerkle, Chief Marketing Officer at Landing, told Forbes. “It’s tailormade for people embracing a flexible lifestyle and the ability to travel frequently – we’re proud to partner with Frontier to deliver the ultimate adventure at an affordable price.”

The Nomad Pass subscription renews monthly and offers its members flexibility on choices of flights and homes throughout the month that the subscription is active.
