Addi Lang – Farewell, fighter
Cancer awareness activist, Addi Lang, passed away on May 7 at the age of 54, from cancer.
Addi was revered in the travel industry as a cancer coach and warrior, working with companies to consider the best interests of employees affected by the illness, and to stop workplace discrimination against cancer victims. She hosted many corporate events with partners in the industry to share her cancer journey.
“I invited Addi to share her wellbeing modules with my team. She impacted the team in the most incredible way due to her passion for life and her positive outlook,” says Carla da Silva, regional manager Africa and Latin America, Air Mauritius.
Addi is survived by her life partner, David Salomon, and her mom, Cynthia Joffe.
