Paris transport strikes come to an end

The two-month Paris transport strike has come to an end. Service with public transport company, Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), continues without disruption.

CEO of RATP, Catherine Guillouard, confirmed yesterday that the general assemblies had voted to end the strike in its unlimited form.

RATP says all metro, RER trains, buses and trams in greater Paris will be running normally.

Passengers had to endure delays on train and air services since the strike began on December 5.
