farewell to an industry
heavyweight.
Md of BCD Travel, Kananelo
Makhetha, has announced
that he will be leaving the
company at the beginning
of November to take up a
new position in the foreign
exchange sector.
Kananelo has been with BCD
for 18 years but feels that,
having successfully realised
his objectives at the company,
the time has come to embark
on a new challenge. He
revealed that he will be joining
the Travelex Africa team as
ceo, based in Johannesburg.

Bongani Sukazi will take
over the reins as md of BCD
Travel. He joined the company
as financial director in March
2011. A chartered accountant,
Bongani has spent time in
the commercial division of
FNB and has also worked as
an audit manager of Tourvest
Holdings and group financial
manager of Tourvest Travel
