Effective October 26, Emirates officially introduced a
fourth daily flight between Johannesburg and Dubai.
This brings the total number of flights to South
Africa to seven daily – four to Johannesburg, two to
Cape Town and one to Durban – upping capacity to
around 2 000 seats from South Africa to Dubai. Fouad
Caunhye, Emirates regional manager for Southern
Africa, says by year-end all seven daily flights between
Dubai and South Africa will be served by B777s. Read
