Precision Air has discontinued its flights to Lusaka in Zambia and Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This follows the cancellation of the airline’s flights to Johannesburg. The airline has again sited a decision to consolidate strategic markets and focus on growing domestic demand. The Tanzanian airline added that the current business climate left it with no option other than closing down the route.
Precision Air representatives will remain in both countries until September to finalise any pending issues and handle enquiries. The airline will also make arrangements with its partners to ensure that customers who have purchased tickets to fly after June 30 reach their final destination.
According to the airline, it would consider resuming the route in the future.
