Proflight Zambia boosts baggage allowance

Proflight Zambia has rolled out a new baggage policy that allows passengers to have up to 23kg of luggage spread across multiple bags at no charge.

Previously, the airline’s cheapest fare class allowed 15kg of luggage; classic fares permitted 23kg and its flexible fare option gave an allowance of 30kg.

The new policy is effective immediately and provides all passengers with a free 23kg checked bag, regardless of the fare type. Passengers are also able to distribute this weight however they like, splitting the 23kg weight allowance across multiple bags without a restriction on bag count.

Baggage allowance can also be shared across passengers who are part of the same booking, or family members in separate bookings but who share the same surname.

The baggage policy applies to all domestic routes. “This revised baggage policy reflects our ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline our services,” said Captain Josias Walubita, Director of Flight Operations of Proflight Zambia.
