THE launch of the Nylstroom-Modimolle Tourism Association's A4 tourism brochure in the Northern Province this month, coupled with the opening of its permanent tourist information office will go a long way towards marketing the area, believes office manager Lina Matlala.
Also recently released is a special brochure covering issues and sites related to Anglo-Boer War events in the area.
According to Matlala, Nylstroom is planning several new developments in the area to stimulate tourism and create opportunities amongst the rural communities, including the development of a new hiking trail in the town which will highlight several places of scenic and historic interest.
"We are also planning a Tourism and Outdoor Life Expo for September."
