Cruises International has advised agents with clients sailing on Alaska cruises departing out of Seattle that the traveller needs to obtain a valid Canadian visa, as these cruises make a stop in Canada.
Guests are not allowed to remain on board during a stop in Canada, the cruise company has said. “Clients not in the possession of a valid Canadian visa will be denied boarding (without exception), on arrival at the cruise terminal. Any guest denied boarding will need to return home at their own expense.”
