SANI Car Rental has announced a franchise partnership with the global operating mobility provider SIXT to enable international reach for car-rental bookings originating in South Africa.

The partnership aims to combine the strengths of both brands, enhancing service offerings and expanding market reach. To complement its global presence, SIXT sought a South African partner to expand its reach.

The partnership allows South African agents to leverage SIXT’s extensive international network, providing them with access to international premium vehicles and services.

"Our objective is to grow the business and be the best car-rental company in Southern Africa, offering premium services to all our customers. We are looking for travel partners that are willing to join us on this new and exciting global journey. This partnership makes SANI SIXT ready to connect with all partners via all major global distribution systems," says Imraan Moolla, CEO of SANI Car Rental.

SIXT is a global leader in the car-rental industry, operating with franchise partners in over 100 countries, with a fleet of over 300 000 vehicles.

SANI Car Rental is a leading B-BBEE Level 1 enterprise with over 30 years of experience in the South African car-rental market.
