Silversea unveils public spaces of first hotel

Silversea has unveiled the interior spaces of its new 150-room hotel, The Cormorant at 55 South, in Puerto Williams, Chile. Set to open in October, the hotel is designed to streamline travel for Silversea cruises to Antarctica.

The hotel’s public spaces are designed to foster relaxation, reflection and discovery, with cosy lounges, curated gathering areas and panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.

The fireplace lounge will feature a variety of plush seating, fine wines, and signature cocktails with views of the Patagonian landscape from the lounge’s expansive windows.
