South Africa’s slow Internet could be up and running at full capacity by April 4, according to Business Insider.
Several Internet service providers said customers were experiencing increased latency and poor speeds due to two undersea cable faults – a break along the South Atlantic Telecommunications cable (SAT-3), and another along the West African Cable System (Wacs).
Repairs to SAT-3 are in progress and are expected to be complete by April 2, Business Insider reports. The estimated repair date for the Wacs cable is April 4.
