Southwest Airlines has joined the NDC Exchange, which will provide better connectivity between airlines and sellers.
NDC Exchange enables the translation of NDC APIs for GDSs, agents, aggregators, online travel agencies and TMCs. Agents can access multiple airlines’ content via NDC Exchange.
The platform will provide for booking and cross-selling of ancillaries between airlines and sellers. The carrier will be able to help business travellers with technical aspects including boarding and providing 24/7 support to aggregators or sellers.
