Singapore Airlines will introduce a fifth weekly flight to Kolkata on March 29.
The flight will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 -on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Flight SQ516 will depart Singapore at 21h00 and arrive in Kolkata at 22h35. Flight SQ517 departs Kolkata at 23h50 to arrive in Singapore at 06h40 the next day.
Once Singapore Airlines commences the new service, SilkAir will cease all services to Kolkata but will maintain the rest of its services to other destinations in India.
Customers with existing bookings on SilkAir’s Kolkata flights on and after March 29, will be re-accommodated on a Singapore Airlines flight.
