EFFECTIVE immediately, Singapore Airlines has increased its fuel surcharge as a result of a sustained escalation in the price of jet fuel in recent months.
The new levels will apply to Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights and represent an increase of between US$3 and US$25 per sector, depending on the distance and class of travel.
The new surcharges are as follows:
Between Singapore and south-east Asian gateways – first-class suites: US$38; business class: $33; and economy, $25
Between Singapore and Europe/South Africa – first-class suites: $126; business class: $33; and economy class: $107
Between Singapore and Americas – first-class suites: $205; business class: $198; and economy: $191
All other flights – first-class suites: $102; business class: $91; and economy: $80.
