From 2025, Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) will offer travellers a new, more personalised SWISS Senses air travel experience.

The main feature of the new product is an entirely redesigned cabin for the long-haul fleet.

SWISS First

The first-class suites will offer travellers sliding doors, a spacious personal wardrobe, a large table, seat heating and cooling, a wireless charging station, a screen display as wide as the suite itself, and an advanced and spacious washroom. The cabin’s centre suite can be configured to accommodate two people travelling together.

SWISS Business

The redesigned business-class cabin offers various seating options, such as double seats for passengers travelling together, a sliding door for selected seats, seat heating and cooling, and a wireless charging station.

SWISS Premium Economy

The premium economy class 48cm-wide seating offers travellers an almost 1m pitch, and remains an integral feature in the new product.

SWISS Economy

The new economy-class cabin features new comfortable and functional seats, with increased pitch. Each seat will have a 33cm high-resolution screen, and an extensive new inflight entertainment system. The new seats are provided with an amenity storage facility and USB port, and offer additional comfort in the first seat rows.

SWISS’s new A350-900 aircraft will be delivered with the new cabins already installed, and installation will begin on the A330-300 fleet in 2025 and, later, on the Boeing777-300ER fleet.

The airline recently announced it would start introducing the A350-900 aircraft to its intercontinental operations from 2025, with the new aircraft replacing SWISS’s four remaining four-engine Airbus A340-300 aircraft in the longer term.
