Air Tanzania suspended flights between Dar es Salaam and Moscow from September 4, following a routine risk assessment.
In a statement, the airline said flights TC422 and TC423 had been suspended as it assessed the safety of the operating environment along the route.
“Air Tanzania conducts these assessments continuously across our entire network, and where the outcome supports a pause, we take one. Safety considerations take precedence over commercial ones,” said the airline.
The airline will resume services once conditions allow and assessments have been completed.
