Thai Airways introduces new check-in counter at Makkasan Station

THAI Airways has recently opened a remote airline check-in service available to its passengers travelling on the State Railway of Thailand’s (SRT) airport rail link.

The service will allow those travelling with the airline to check in for flights departing from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport three to 13 hours prior to their flight. Passengers will also have the option of checking in their luggage at the same time.

The service is available at the Bangkok City Air Terminal (BCAT) Makkasan Station and operates between 07h00-21h00.

The airport rail link launched in September last year and includes a City Line as well as Express Line, which operate between 06h00 and midnight. The Express Line is a 15-minute, non-stop journey every 30 minutes between Makkasan Station and Suvarnabhumi International Airport at a fare of 150 baht.

Travellers wishing to make use of the remote check-in counter must be able to present a valid Thai ticket and must also have purchased an Express Line ticket for the airport rail link.
