Thailand’s tourism and health authorities have collaborated to launch a certification scheme to prepare the tourism industry for recovery and to strengthen tourist confidence.
The Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) project will advise tour operators and tourists once the country has ensured safe conditions for travel.
All applying establishments will undergo strict inspection and be assigned the SHA logo by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, as a quality certification of the service standards of that establishment for a two-year period. Accredited establishments will be entered into a database and if violations are reported, the logo will be revoked.
