Tickets for United’s non-stop service between New York/Newark and Cape Town, the first by a US carrier, are now available for purchase.
United will begin the three-times weekly non-stop service from December 15, subject to government approval.
Development Promotions, United’s GSA in this market, confirmed to eTNW that tickets are available and agents can contact Development Promotions with questions regarding the service.
The service will reduce the current travel time between New York and Cape Town by over four hours.
The service will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with 48 seats in United Polaris business class, 88 in Economy Plus, and 116 in Economy.
