Following bmi’s integration into British Airways, agents should be aware of the following:
• Routes moving to a BA flight code and number include: Agadir, Basel, Bergen, Casablanca, Hanover, Marrakech, Nice, Stavanger and Vienna (for travel from May 23).The second phase flights to move will be advised shortly.
• The carrier plate when performing the reissue will remain the same as the original e-ticket – e.g. BD/236 to BD/236 or BA/125 to BA/125.
• Not all trade systems support revalidation, and even where supported, not all carriers support revalidation, e.g. BA/125 revalidation is supported, BD/236 revalidation is not.
