Virgin Australia launched its first daily flights between Melbourne and Doha on December 1, following the airline’s return to long-haul international flying in June this year.
Flights depart Melbourne at 17h10 and arrive in Doha at 23h25. The flights are operated by Virgin Australia using Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777 aircraft.
Earlier this year, Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia received approval for their integrated alliance, which facilitated the Australian carrier’s re-entry into long-haul international flying using Qatar Airways’ wet-leased aircraft.
