Travelport launches EK NDC content

Travelport and Emirates have announced that Emirates’ NDC content and enhanced NDC servicing capabilities are available on the Travelport+ platform – but not in South Africa at this stage.

“We are leading the way in delivering Emirates’ NDC content to travel retailers and giving agents the ability to compare and book the best offers and ancillaries available from Emirates on Travelport+,” said Jason Clarke, Chief Commercial Officer, Travel Partners at Travelport.

Travelport-driven agencies can view and compare more dynamic NDC offers and ancillaries from Emirates to create more streamlined, personalised experiences for their traveller clients.

Importantly, Travelport's Emirates NDC solution will allow agents to service NDC bookings, which includes making modifications and cancellations.

“Agencies using Travelport+ will now have access to better, more enriched content that is only available via the Emirates NDC channel,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Travelport's Emirates NDC content and servicing solutions are now available in Australia, the UK, the UAE and Indonesia.

Access to Emirates NDC Solution in Travelport+ will expand to agency customers in “additional countries” in the coming weeks. It is believed that South Africa will get EK NDC content on Travelport+ during next month.
