Online travel agency, Travelwings, has announced that it will be offering a ‘fare lock’ booking feature on eligible international flights.
Unlike ‘book now and pay later’ schemes that can charge large upfront deposits, the ‘fare lock’ system gives customers the opportunity to secure flights at the day’s available price for an additional R50 per fare.
This is to protect passengers from airfare fluctuations and currency volatility.
