Despite assurances that systems at the Angolan embassy would be operational by Monday this week (see eTNW January 16), this is not the case. Although the embassy is open, the systems are still down, frustrating agents who are struggling to secure visas for their clients.
An employee at the embassy says they don’t know when the systems will be operational again and that agents should keep trying every day. Agents are advised to apply at the Consulate-General of the Republic of Angola in Johannesburg and Cape Town in the interim.
