Zimbabwe hospitality group, Africa Albida Tourism, is looking forward to opening the Victoria Falls Safari Spa next month.
Construction of the facility, which is on the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate, started in April after COVID lockdown restrictions on travel and tourism had stalled plans for its September 2020 launch.
The group’s Chief Executive Ross Kennedy said: “It will pave the way for new standards in health and wellness in Zimbabwe’s leading tourist destination. It will include a 280sqm central area featuring manicure and pedicure stations, private relaxation rooms, a café serving health dishes, a hair salon and change rooms, including one that is wheelchair-friendly, as well as three outlying separate secluded treatment rooms.”
Kennedy said the facility would be open to residents and non-residents of the group’s properties and was ideal for weekend travellers, midweek breaks, wedding and bridal party outings.
