Viking Cruises will resume Egypt voyages on March 12 despite a previous advisory that said voyages in the region would be halted until March 31.
“The current advisory for Egypt remains the same as it was prior to the start of the recent conflict. In consultation with longtime ground operators in Egypt, we now expect to operate our Egypt voyages as planned beginning March 12,” the cruise line said in a notice.
AmaWaterways’ operations in Egypt remain stable, however the Jordan land extensions and Dubai programmes remain suspended until March 31.
All other Nile River cruises embarking throughout March will continue as scheduled.
