Virgin Atlantic will operate its seasonal daily Cape Town to London Heathrow flights for an extra month in 2026, to meet high demand during the Easter peak season.
The updated schedule is as follows:
- VS478 departs London Heathrow at 22h30 and arrives in Cape Town at 12h10, the following day.
- VS 479 departs Cape Town at 21h55 and arrives in London Heathrow at 07h45, the following day.
The extension will offer travellers 17 000 additional seats and same-day connections via Heathrow to Virgin’s US network.
All Cape Town flights will be operated by the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring Upper Class, Premium, Economy Light, Classic, and Delight cabins.
